 The AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course: Participant Material -8th Edition is required for the of class.

• The student participants have the option of purchasing a physical or e-book through Kendall Hunt.
• There is a code within the materials and a website where you must go to complete the online activities.
• Using the course ID number, participants will complete learning modules and a pre-test.
• The entire online activity MUST BE COMPLETED 48 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS in order to be acknowledged by the system and added to the instructor roster.
• Day 2 is then completed in person with the instructor. This includes further lecture and the skills assessment.

Nursing contact hours/CME credit will be awarded by AWHONN after successful completion of the online knowledge validation test and evaluation, which will be available after the in-person course. The online test and evaluation are required to receive nursing contact hours/CME credit for the cours

Pre-Requisite:

• Successful Completion of Basic Fetal Monitoring OR
• 1 year Labor & Delivery clinical experience
